When I was a kid, I used to read all the time. Unfortunately, I had a series of bad teachers that turned me off of reading. And then, in the 6th grade, I had to start reading for points. Needless to say, that sucked the fun out of it for me. I write because kids need something fun to read. I write because maybe it will get a kid reading for the first time. I write stories for me. But, maybe they can be stories for you, too.
